ENCM MAGAZINE

ENCM MAGAZINE

So I decided to use Sophie as my model, using glasses and a mac book computer to advertise her as a typical student who will represent the college student for the magazine, the readers will also see her on the cover and recognise that the magazine may have content relative to them as they can relate to her age group and the fact that there is no specific stereo-type for the magazine.

The image is also the background, I felt that this wasnt an effective idea, because it makes the font alot harder to read, so when doing my main task, I wouldnt follow this idea again. Also I think that the title and the coverlines are very unclear to the reader, they don't stand out as much as I would have expected them to, so this is a huge disadvantage as readers tend to attract to the bright conventional magazine covers. I believe this college magazine cover has alot of work to do to it, with more knowledge of conventions of covers and knowledge of Photoshop, I think that the task would be much easier and more effective.
